LAWRENCE HOLZBERG, LUTCF ACCEPTS THE PRESIDENCY OF THE SUFFOLK ASSOCIATION OF INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL ADVISORS (SAIFA)

Mr. Larry Holzberg, LUTCF will be sworn in as President of the Suffolk Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors on July 1, 2002. His term will run through June 30, 2003. The Suffolk Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors is one of the five professional associations represented by The Alliance of Insurance and Financial Professionals.

Mr. Holzberg became a professional in the insurance industry in 1987 when he began his career as an insurance professional with Connecticut Mutual from 1989-1992. He is currently a Managing Member of Holzberg-Rampart Agency LLC, which he joined in 1992 when it was the Charles Holzberg Agency.

Before becoming President of the SAIFA, Mr. Holzberg was serving as the organization’s Vice President. Mr. Holzberg also was an honoree at the December 2000 State of Israel Bonds Insurance Division function and currently serves on Security Mutuals' Product Development and General Agents Advisory Committees.

Mr. Holzberg has been involved in various community service and charitable organizations, which include the Special Olympics, Jewish War Veterans Association and New York Cares.

The Alliance of Insurance and Financial Professionals is a not for profit organization that currently represents five trade associations (indicated on the above letterhead) with a collective membership of well over 4000 insurance and financial service professionals and almost 300 business offices throughout the major metropolitan area. The organization is a progressive and innovative provider of legislative advocacy, state-mandated continuing education, professional development, professional training, education and conferment of all industry designations (CFP, CLU, ChFC and LUTCF designations), and for providing marketing, promotion and public relations and support for industry professionals.

Members are continuing a 115 year tradition of upholding the highest ethics of their profession and take pride in assisting their clients in making important financial decisions on life and health insurance and financial and estate planning.
