Nancy S. Dettmann, Grants Coordinator, will present the following informational meetings on the NYSCA Decentralization Grants for the Arts Program in Suffolk County. The program regrants New York State Arts Council funds to non-profit organizations and individual artists based in Suffolk County for community arts and cultural projects. Projects must fall under one of the following categories; visual, media, performing, literary, design and folk arts; or humanities. Funded projects must be open to the public.

 

These workshops are being offered as a preliminary introduction in preparation for the upcoming grant cycle. Topics will include:

                    History of the Program

Explanation of the Guidelines

Project ideas and project development

Question and Answer Period
