As we wait to hear day to day the news from the World Trade Center disaster, volunteers working around the clock are in need of supplies to help them continue in their efforts in rescuing people who are trapped.

We are asking the community and local businesses to help support the volunteers by making a donation of one or more of the items listed below. A drop off location for your support will be at:  

The Municipal Parking Lot (north of 25A across from Kings Park Fire Department) on Saturday 9/15/01 and Sunday 9/16/01 between 10:00am – 4:00pm.

 

ITEMS NEEDED

All to be in adult sizes (Inexpensive: Quantity important, not quality)

Sweatshirts          T-Shirts

Socks

Work Pants          Underwear

Raingear

These items needed immediately**

Eyewash kits or Saline Solution**

Heavy work gloves**

Hard Hats**

Goggles

Baby Wipes**       Respirator Masks**

Dog Food       Soap

 

Individually Wrapped Non-Perishable Items

Water (individual bottles)

Gatorade       Power aid Drinks

Granola Bars       Power Bars

Cookies

Monetary donations are also welcome.

PLYCON Van Lines has joined our efforts and donated a truck to transport all the supplies into New York City first thing Monday morning.
