New Director of Emergency Services for Suffolk Red Cross

Rebecca Arthurs is the new Director of Emergency Services for the Suffolk County Chapter of American Red Cross.

Rebecca (at right) has worked at the chapter since January 2006 when she was hired as a Caseworker to manage the International, Military and Disaster Services cases. She is also a trained disaster instructor and a member of the DSHR (Disaster Services Human Resources).

As Director, she will oversee the chapter’s preparedness efforts and disaster response operations.

In her new position Rebecca hopes to improve the chapters overall capacity by increasing the number of trained volunteers and building partnerships with local businesses and community groups.
