Lawlor Elected New Chair of Nassau- Suffolk Hospital Council

July 10, 2008 HAUPPAUGE, NY -- Huntington Hospital CEO Kevin Lawlor was named Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council (NSHC), the association that represents Long Island’s 24 not-for-profit and public hospitals.
He is a fellow and former president of the New York Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, has served on the Executive and Finance Committees of the NSHC, and also served on the Healthcare Association of New York State’s Committee on Finance.
Lawlor's two-year term expires June 2010. He was elected by the CEOs from each of the member hospitals who comprise the NSHC's Board of Directors. -30- Click
