While he only seems to be smiling this horse was being readied for the Grand Prix.  To the left a competitor rounds the turn for the final seriers of jumps.

To the right, a Spanish horse paraded between events for spectators

The winner of the first event is honored.  To the right, he is shown during his challenge of the course.

It would seem these two competitors are trying to get some added advantage as if the clouds could lift them over the jumps!

All in all, it was a perfect day to ride.
